Terms & conditions — Birmingham 2026 hotel booking

These terms govern the booking of a room (single or double occupancy, as selected at booking) of hotel accommodation during Birmingham 2026 by a customer ("you") with Best of Tours SAS ("we", "us"), registered at 26 bis rue de la Calade, 84200 Carpentras, France (RCS Avignon 850 483 355; VAT FR04850483355; Atout France IM092200004 · financial guarantee: APST — Association Professionnelle de Solidarité du Tourisme).

The contracted hotel is: Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre (comfort, Standard Double Room — Single or Double Occupancy, Full English Breakfast), located in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Allocations are contracted directly with the properties.

bot-events.com is operated by Best of Tours SAS, an independent travel operator. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by European Athletics or any organizer of Birmingham 2026. We offer accommodation from our own directly contracted hotel allocations.

A booking is confirmed when (a) the payment is successfully processed by Stripe and (b) you receive a confirmation email from us bearing a booking reference of the form BHAM26-XXXXXXXX. The reference is your point of contact for any modification or query.

Prices are quoted per room, per night, in GBP (single or double occupancy as selected). The price shown is the final amount payable.

The price shown is final and all-inclusive. Your booking is sold by Best of Tours SAS, a French tour operator registered with Atout France and covered by the APST financial guarantee, under the French travel-agency margin scheme (régime de la marge, CGI art. 268 bis). No separate VAT line is shown and no further payment is required.

• The full amount of the booking is due at booking and charged immediately via Stripe Checkout (card payment), in GBP. The price shown is final and all-inclusive.
• No further payment is due after the booking is confirmed. There is no balance reminder.
• For organizational invoicing (different billing name, purchase order, bank transfer, split payment), email birmingham@bot-events.com before booking and we will arrange terms on a case-by-case basis.

• Your room (single or double occupancy, as selected) for the dates booked
• Board as stated for the selected hotel (Standard Double Room — Single or Double Occupancy, Full English Breakfast)
• City / tourist taxes where included by the hotel

Not included: flights, transfers, travel insurance, personal expenses, items not listed by the hotel as part of the board.

Notwithstanding the EU "right of withdrawal" for distance sales, travel and accommodation services are excluded from this right under Article L221-28 12° of the French Code de la consommation. The following single-tier policy applies:

• Before 10 June 2026: full refund of all amounts paid.
• On or after 10 June 2026: the booking is non-refundable. No partial refund is offered.

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to birmingham@bot-events.com with the booking reference. Refunds are processed via Stripe back to the original card within 7 business days of receiving a valid cancellation notice.

Organizer override: If the 2026 European Athletics Championships are formally cancelled or postponed by the organizer, all amounts paid are refunded in full regardless of the cut-off date above.

For any other force-majeure event (natural disaster, government travel ban, declared epidemic preventing travel) outside our reasonable control, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable French and EU travel-services law.

Date changes within the 2026-08-08 → 2026-08-17 window (subject to availability) and addition of rooms can be requested by email and are not charged a modification fee. Reduction of room count is treated as a partial cancellation under section 6.

We act as a tour operator within the meaning of the French Code du tourisme (art. L211-1 et seq.) and assume responsibility for the proper execution of the contracted accommodation service. Our liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the customer for this booking, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or where liability cannot be limited by law.

We process the personal data you provide (name, contact details, organization, special requests) solely to fulfil the booking and to communicate with you. The data controller is Best of Tours SAS. See our Privacy notice for full details.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably is submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tribunal de commerce d'Avignon, France.
